PLEASE NOTE: THERE WAS A PHOTO OF MY CARD, HERE, BUT I'VE BEEN TOLD TO TAKE IT DOWN, IN CASE SOMEONE STEALS MY IDENTITY!

It only took seven months...
So, a funny thing happened, on Wednesday: I went to collect my official shiny card with face, personal details, signature and fingerprints, declaring me a student of a Spanish Institution of Learning...two months before I effectively graduate from it.
My more seasoned readers may remember the previous two parts of this ten-month saga (here and here).
Funny, no? No, it isn't, actually...
Everything takes long in any country. I legally changed my (last) name over 18 months ago and I have yet to have a single ID with that new name. God forbid if they want to do some background check....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the new shiny ID, though. Now you can stay there longer.... :)
ReplyDeleteHaha - thanks, Dusty. As it happens, I am planning to stay until the end of August or the beginning of September, now. I'll be moving house after the exams, but judging by how long this took to even acquire, I won't bother telling them! I've never once been asked to produce ID by a policeman...
ReplyDeleteYou tart - photoshop it and put it back up, I want the money shot for this whole saga.
ReplyDeleteka-os, I need to get photoshop to black out the important info, otherwise, it ain't goin' up: and that is the ONLY instance when something of mine won't go up fnurr fnurr...
