  1. Your thoughts on the Conservatives? Spot on, old boy. Shame they're virtually a dead cert for a landslide.

"... most tempting when it's young and bursting with life." Ain't that the truth. Mwaahahahhaha...

Btw, don't you find BBC News worse than useless? I've had to resort to the Evening Standard (excuse me whilst I go projectile vomit) to get London news. It's truly abysmal.

Thank God for the Independent/Guardian online! (The Independent is *the* news destination for me, after Towleroad).

  2. Chewy, Oscar worthy? Definitely, but remember most of the time Oscars are usually given to people in American productions and I don't see him getting too many roles there unless it's as somebody's side kick. Also it usually takes about 10% talent and about 90% politics which I'm not sure that he has in his favor right now.

  3. ka-os|theory - I know, and lament the coming storm that is a return to power for the Conservatives: why do you think I've been test-driving life in foreign countries with left-leaning governments (wikipedia PSOE to see what I mean)

Curious - I totally agree with you, which is why I rate most nominated actors and other artists more than the winners, sometimes. How cool would it be to say you knew someone nominated for an OSCAR?!
